Have just seen that in the old thermostat the terminals are numbered (from top to bottom) Terminal 2: Blue Terminal 1: Red Terminal 4: Empty Terminal 3: Yellow Earth left loose Hope this makes sense. New thermostat terminals lettered A, B & C (from left to right) Thanks again in advance

The terminals on the old thermostat run from top to bottom so I have numbered accordingly.

Ok so the old thermostat has 4 terminals as follows: 1: Blue 2:Red 3: not connected 4:yellow + bare copper wire bent to the left of the terminals. I have just bought a Honeywell DT90E requiring only two wires.........what goes where? Thanks in advance
