    Thanks for your reply, You are quite correct.. I do not appear to have 240V on the main light S/W. What's your theory Sir?

    Many thanks for your reply. Yep have a fluke. :) I can tell you I've a 240V live link from wall light #1 and wall light #2 and it seems to finish at wall #2 S/W. There are 2 all power sockets behind the bed, I'm thinking the power comes up from there to #1 S/W & wall light. across...
