The Mrs' dearly loved washing machine is back on duty (& hasn't missed a beat - touch wood!). The only parts replaced were the previously mentioned pcb components- total cost, less than AUD10 + plus bottle of red for my soldering man. Once again, thanks so much to all previous contributors.
