    The terminals are held in place by 2 screws and the earthing strip runs across the terminal block. I can't get it off without breaking the switch. I'll have to live with it. Unless there's a way of getting to it.

    I haven't got a multimeter to hand and have to get it from my dads I took all wires out and put them back as one in each terminal tightened and hey presto it works the only thing is the light on the switch isn't working not a major biggy. I feels so stupid now after such a simple thing...
