Is there anything that I can do to fix the inlet valve?

My Hoover WDM120 washer dryer has started filling up with water even when it is turned off. Otherwise it seems to be fine. It takes about 3 hours to fill the drum. I can put it on the spin cycle to drain the drum during the day, and turned off the water to it overnight. Could the problem...
