    jobs got it right with the oxcalic acid . mix the crystals in a plastic container and when dry wash with plenty of water to nuetralize . be aware that the acid is very toxic so be carefull aroung food areas

    best thing is to use osmo oil .wash off old oil with turps .paper wood with a fine paper the 2 to three coats of osmo oil and that will last years .danish oil and teak oil will only feed the wood and stop it spliting and will give you hardly any protection.

    your best bet would bet to get a french polisher round to colour match your door if not try a few sample stains .but dont oil the doors as you will not be able to change the colour if it is not right. if you use a vanish at least if you dont go to dark you can add not coat to achive the right finish

    iwould wash tops of with turps first then sand down to 240 grit paper the use a osmo oil on the tops as this will wear much better and give a better finish.

    Wet Oak Worktop before it has been oiled

    all you need to do is to re sand tops again if they don't come out perfect you could try oxalic acid this will remove all dark stains.then re finish with osmo oil and danish oil will not protect your tops well enough.
