i dnt know of any electricians that will call out the electricity board to cut and reseal there work after they have completed it, never heard of any one being caught or if they check them full stop

touch and see:) Can you see which colour you have gone through? cables should only be up/down/left/right of s/w's or sockets or in the safety zones in the corner of the edge of the rooms. so if theres nothing near cable shouldnt be there. Have you got RCD protection?

call out sounds about correct for a small call out job, PIR and new board you may be able to get abit cheaper I normaly charge around £550 ( not vat registered) for new board and full test Laurence
