Once you take out the three screws, the case front will come off. Obviously make sure the power is off before doing this! I found the procedure for swapping over the TCO straightforward, although getting the old one out was a bit fiddly. I got the part from Shower Doctor...

Great news! Got the TCO, changed it over. It was bit fiddly to extract the TCO from amongst the cables and the tops of the heating elements, but once swapped for the new one, my shower now works again. Thanks for the useful hints!

Thanks for the reply. I have just ordered one of these. It looks like a fairly simple job to change it over, will have a go when the part turns up. Fortunately I have a set of those "star" screwdriver bits that will be needed to remove and refit the TCO. Let's hope it turns out that...
