I don't feel like I can start hassling the landlord and I am glad he is putting a shower in, he is under no obligation to do so. I just thought that electric cables had to be in the wall in a bathroom rather than in trunking.

I live in rented accomodation and have recently requested a shower, the plumber my landlord has sent to fit the shower has told be that he is not going to bury the power cables in the wall but just put them in trunking. Is this safe/legal. I have trawled the internet but I cant find any...
