    I have an old lead pipe i have discovered going from the kitchen up into the bathroom, this is leaking and although i have not yet ripped the units out to see where the pipe is coming from, will it be easier to rip the whole thing out from source and replace, if so can i replace with speedfit...

    showers

    i want to install a shower, i have a combie boiler that is in the loft above the bathroom. Would it be easier to run a connection for the shower from the combie and run down, or should i install a tank up in the loft and use that for the cold feed. Any help will be appreciated. :P

    mixer showers

    If i was to fit a mixer shower and pump, replacing the bath for a double shower unit,and for ease plumb it in using the hot and cold water supply that was for the bath.....what is the problem in doing that instead of plumbing in from the top tank and header tank?

    I am about to install a down stairs toilet and sink. The soil pipe is just through the external wall but is metal. 1. What do i need to drill through the wall, is it hard? 2. How do i cut into the existing metal soil and connect my new waste? 3. Can my sink waste go into the soil...

    macerators

    Being new in the plumbing world, i need some advise on fitting a macerator. I don't understand how they opperate, or if they require an outlet into a waste system. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers Nick :?:
