    surely, a western style of goverment would be quite alien to a non-european country, therefore would it not be un-expected if the local populace resisted such a goverment? Is this reason enough for the west to empose its will upon such countries?

    how many sockets on a ring main?

    I've been told by an electrician many years ago, that you can have as many 13amp sockets on a ring main as you want, providing each sockets load does not exceed 13amps. Is this still the case?

    if my property has a 4mm continous earth cross bonding my water pipes to the boiler and water stop cock, do i need to return the earth back to the consumer unit(like a ring main)? :?

    I was hoping someone would clarify the requirements for the minimum diameter (on a 100 amp tn-s) earth cable. The cable from the incoming supply to the consumer unit is 16mm.The earth cable from the c.u. to the ring main sockets, lights, shower, cooker etc is only 10mm, is this acceptable?
