Thanks, have bought a new element to try that first, then the thermostat if that doesn't work.

Our Neff oven (U1421) heats up to a certain temperature and then trips the main RCD. We have had a similar thing with the element before, but this time the oven is getting pretty hot before it trips. Any ideas? :(
