Thanks Zipper - you were right. The base plate was wet and that had activated the auto cut out. I tilted it forward - water came out as you had warned. I removed the base plate but at first couldn't see and leak - but then saw that the outlet hose had a split in it. Took it to a small supplier...

When I set the dishwasher it sounds like it's going to start but it stops and there is a clicking sound from the control panel at the top of the door. Any help much appreciated!!!
