robert91elgin Engineer states that there is a leak on the water supply side from the water main. Boiler think hot water is being called for so heating side does not start. Snag still exist(water leak) however boiler is working, no idea what he did. DCawkwell.Thank once again for advice.

Thank you for your prompt reply. The boiler has been set up by an engineer to supply hot water to radiators, with instructions not to attempt selecting hot water. ( This engineer was sent by Pottertons, as boiler under guarantee.) As a non expert I presume that the connections to the diverter...

potterton 24HE installed over i year ago. Bungalow. It has stopped providing heat to radiators. Green light for heat on. No burner caption. Turning tap 'on' causes burner caption to come on. Slight weep noticed below boiler ( left of midposition) Very small amount. Bleeding radiators...
