the alarm is an optima xm.

whilst doing some decorating i disconnected a smoke alarm that is somehow connected to my house alarm.when i re connected the 4 small wires back into the smoke alarm the house alarm will no longer re set and the pirs are not acctivating.can anyone solve my annoying problem.thanks
