Connected as suggested, the only thing now is that the boiler is bring constantly. If you turn the original programmer to off the whole display disappears (i guess theres no power to it?). In all fact currently it' just a temp display!!!
Any ideas??

Red to L
Blue to N
Yellow to A2
And a link wire between L and A1, preferably red.
And tuck the earth wire out of the way.
does it make much difference??
