    try posting this on plumbing and central heating it looks like it has something to do with your boiler as part of fire regs.....i might be wrong though :idea:..also has it been tested as there are products on the market that look very si milar to asbestos :)

    you certainly can tile onto asphalt two methods fix with hot melt bitumen or the easiser way is to use pu adhesive (tile tech) from good roofing suppliers :idea: :)

    any good roofing suppliers that stock felt... if they dont have it in they will order it for you :) also make sure roof is clean and dry before application

    a certain amount of water holding on a roof should'nt cause problems but can be unsightly, if the ponding is'nt to deep you could spread chippings deeper than the water, use gritting solution to hold chippings :idea:

    Skimming over existing plaster

    spoke to plasterers on subject they say pva 5:1 apply to area allow to dry apply same just before skim allow to go tackie then skim.......hollow knocking sound means original wet line delaminated from wall........or it was dry lined

    yes and its very useful for testing batteries...........it didnt come with instuctions searched internet for decent tutorials but no luck so far :oops: :oops: :oops: as george micheal once said..........here's a million quid, can i stick this up your b*m :lol: :lol: :lol:

    no only one socket removed at a time .....separate the neutrals on any of ring and they all go dead........remove 1 live from mcb sockets still work replace and remove 2nd live sockets still work

    its taken most of the day taking all the sockets off but whoever rewired the house ran the cables without much care so much so the upstairs ring includes 3 sockets downstairs i think your right i can do straight forward wiring but fault finding with a multi-meter is a bit advanced
