    Hotpoint engineer came out and and replaced the FSD (thing located right of the burner) All sorted now, full flame in 30sec, as opposed to 20min

    Thanks chaps, I have set the clock already and I'm thinking it might be the thermostat. New cooker going belly up in 2 months.. nice! I'll see what Hotpoint or an RGI guy says and get back.

    Hi all, Complete beginner here so forgive my ignorance, I am replacing my ShowerForce Easiboost pump with a quieter (I hope) Salamander RHP50 (not bought). The problem - Old pump is under the bath tub and running on 15mm pipes, so I can't straight swap to the salamander with 22mm pipes...
