yes the thread dosent come far enough to take bothe the cover and the shower nut will try get a photo on tonight

i have just purchased a new triton bar mixer shower as my old one broke. The wall is tiled at the moment. The pipes are not coming out of the wall enough to allow both the shower and the plastic cover disc. (the old one didnt either) the person who lived in the house before fitted the shower...
