    Its solved, ive replaced the original link wire boiler end.

    There isnt anyway of wiring the thermostat to the no terminal and com as you can see from back of the salus. As for the reciever i have replaced the old dial bit like for like wiring. Them 2 top wires are there from the old hard wired to the thermostat so the link isnt there now.

    I could but its not the cost of concrete foundation thats problem but if it dont need to be as high as it would be on soil base id rather not have a higher than needed being on limestone rock

    What width and depth should i do foundation for a garden wall if building on solid limestone rock 2ft down, read somewhere make it 600mm if double skinned and 375mm depth if wall is over 4ft but do i really need it 375mm if im building wall on solid limestone rock?

    Old door frame i took out 30mm x 100mm but i want to know if the redwood i bought from wickes will do to hold solid pine door up, its 20.5mm x 94mm and it going up between studwork an brickwork with door hinges going on brickwork side of frame. Thanks
