    Nail gun Advice

As above, a 16g air nailer will do the job. I've never used the DeWalt one you have quoted, but for the price -hey... I would recommend buying a 'recoil hose' though, for those tight spots where access is limited and foul language is inevitable.

    Fortic shower solution...

Dan, thanks for the reply, is this likely to be an expensive option oposed to the electric shower option? I do appreciate that most people seem to be in favour of the loft tank solution, however, whilst all things are possible, not all things are practical.

    Fortic shower solution...

gassafesam I do have a loft, however, the bathroom is in a flat roof extension to a 'two up two down' period cottage built from flint materials almost impervious to modern drilling technology. Hence, I would prefer to avoid running pipework to the loft (rafter integrity unknown for large...

    Fortic shower solution...

Thanks for the reply Dan, Please forgive my ignorance here, but does that require any pipework running to the loft to supply some sort of head of pressure? The bathroom area is in a flat roof extension which would be a bit tricky to run pipes to the loft. I'm just guessing the previous...

    Fortic shower solution...

Hi folks, I seem to be on the wrong end of a Fortic tank situation, which lives directly behind my downstairs bathroom. Refering to the Fortic literature, it seems to offer a huge 20l cold capacity and be rather unsuitable for any sort of shower pump (despite the former owners fitting a dual...

    Nuaire Drimaster Connection

Plugwash, Thanks for the information, it sounds as though the light circuit is not a brilliant plan. I'll get someone in to take it from the ring main. Going slightly off subject - is it a requirement for whoever carries this out to test the ring circuit post installation. The house has...

    Nuaire Drimaster Connection

You are absolutely correct - the figures are actually: Voltage: 240V 1ph 50Hz Consumption: Normal running: 1.6W (min) 15.3W (max), up to 500W with heater at full load. Fuse size: 3 Amp The unit itself is a Drimaster Heat...

    Nuaire Drimaster Connection

Hi, I'm just in the process of fitting a Drimaster 2000 unit with integrated heater, the figures quoted for this are: Consumption - 1.6W min, 15.3W max with 1Amp fuse size. Would I be right in thinking that this would be ok to take power via a fused spur from the lighting circuit...
