I've just bought a dormer cottage and I'm going to let it out, it's got an oldish Ideal condensing boiler that leaks a bit, so was thinking of biting the bullet and getting a new boiler. I've read Worcester Bosch are good but have also been recommended an Ideal logic plus. Any thoughts, or...

Thanks @durhamplumber. Not 100% sure but when I closed the front hatch on the Baxi all the red temperature lights went out, I opened the hatch straight away and they were on, could be imagining this. :whistle:. House is empty as tenant moved out but going up again today see if it does it again.

Hi all, have an intermittent problem with my Baxi 105e. When heating gets up to temp and the boiler stops burning it won't come back on. No flashing lights, reset boiler and turned off at the mains and it came back on.

Our neighbour has had a new slate roof fitted, where it joins ours there is a gap. Should the roofers have tied in the slates with ours? New slates are man made. [/youtube]
