Thank you very much for the input. Just had a plumber out.... Turns out when they delivered the oil they turned the valve next to the tank off to fill up the tank and had not turned it back on again, so I hadn't actually run out at all. Once again many thanks for your help.

Thanks again, Slackened off the screw some oil dripped out, but the boiler still wont start, keeps going back to log off. Thanks for trying to help though

My boiler may have run out of oil, the tank is now full again but I cannot restart the boiler. Can anyone please give me any tips how to do this? Oressure guage shows low if that is relevant and I have tried pushing the Lockout reset all to no avail. Many thanks in advance
