I need a led strip light equavelent to 5 foot 80w

I might be going off replacing flourescent with led. One problem I have is the choke in my fitting is from a 6 foot fitting as the original failed years ago and that was all I had. I think the ballast choke limits the tube current so I am overdriving my tube anyway. I have a 60ish watt fitting...

I need a led strip light equavelent to 5 foot 80w

It is an old fitting, in those days they were 5 foot and 80 watt, 1.5 inches in diameter tube, the newer ones dropped the wattage to 65 watt. So how many lumens would the 80 watt tube give. It has a starter but its only 65watt so fails quite often. The ballast choke is in series with the tube...

    What centres for roof spars

Hello I am slating an outhouse with slates, 10 x 18 thin blue slates. The span of the building is 3m to the outside. It is very low but is used for access to a garage so headroom is at a premium. I have some 4" x 4" spars I want to use but the question is how far apart should they be. I intend...

Can I use 10mm for the last 1m to the rad. Solved thanks

Can I use 10mm for the last 1m to the rad. Solved thanks

I might as well push my luck, 22mm is on a 35 foot run from boiler so would I get away with an 8 foot run of 10mm to the rad from the 22mm. There is a 3 inch step in the floor which I will have to follow and 10mm will easily bend.

Can I use 10mm for the last 1m to the rad. Solved thanks

I will sleeve it as its loose fill with stone bits, have had problems before with bits falling and blocking the hole and had to fill hole with expanding foam and drill that.

Can I use 10mm for the last 1m to the rad. Solved thanks

Hello I am adding another rad to my system. It goes 22mm to very near the point but I wondered if I could use 10mm for the last meter or so as I need to drill through a 2 foot stone wall and 10mm is definately easier. Thanks thyristor44

Solved Grant Vortex Pro kitchen utility oil connection prob

That makes it plain. Last thing, if I move the supply from the outlet port to the inlet port does it need recalibrating.

Solved Grant Vortex Pro kitchen utility oil connection prob

Yes there is a metal bung, also a small grub screw with a point on in the remaining parts. The job he did was cash in hand and he was to come back when the auto bypass was fitted to sign it off. I have tried to contact him for over two weeks now but no luck, think he is bumping my calls now. He...
