Wasn't going to go into mains as I was not sure how to, might be tacky but figured it was an easy solution to go straight to a plug as the loft is only used for storage. thank you for you replies.

Hi I would like to put two pendant lights in my loft. There is an electric socket in the loft and just wanted to check if I could run the pendant lights directly from a socket as opposed to wiring into mains. Any advise gratefully received
