    Hi, Newbie needs soem help please... i got a shower wall plate with shower diverter knob at top and thermostat knob below. The thermostat knob is dripping..... I took off the knob and can see the head of the thermostat cartrdige. I dont know the brand and it's not on the plate as fitted 12yrs...

    oh :-) Grateful for the feedback but i think that will be beyond my limited DIY.... I'm think of giving it a clean to buy me some time then i might need to call someone. I have a dehumidifier. Is it worth me putting that on in the bathroom and leaving it to run several hours in the daytime?

    Tried 2 and 3 no grub screw there. Trying to pull the knob off, not successful yet, may try prising off with a screwdriver to get some leverage. I noticed if i pull the knob then turn i can get some resistance and get the shower to turn on and off.. What could have happened behind the knob...
