Doss anybody know the general rule for measuring brickwork? If someone is pricing for laying a cavity wall, say conc block - insulation - facing brick, how's is the m2 area calculated (are wall lengths taken down the centre of the cavity? Or outside face?)

does anyone know the best way/product for removing latex levelling compound from the back of vinyl tiles? I have a job lot that have only been down a couple of months and have come up realy clean apart from a little bit of latex on the back of some of them. Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks for the info. Might try blending a sample 50:50 with a proper building sand to see what sort of mix it produces, otherwise it'll be going in the ground one way or another!

Thanks for the response, do you know what else i can use this for apart from rendering, rather than wasting it? Sand blinding i suppose, or laying water pipe. Paving? Weak mix concrete?
