Guys you were right! The oil line was completely frozen!..hence no oil getting to the boiler. I'm ff out to by external lagging Any other advice anyone has to prevent ths in future??? My fabulous gas guy came first thing and sorted it ... He's a real star! He had the day off yesterday...

Many thanks for your responses. I've just been out... It's very cold! I can't see any visible leaks on the oil line....although the line is underground from tank to tiger loop thing. I have called my installer / service guy whos excellent I can't fault him ... I just can't get an answer...

How do I check the oil line??? I'm not technical just a householder! So I need something simple to follow Thanks for responding so quickly

My boiler isn't running my heating tonight. It's -3 here at the moment The same thing happened last year when really cold! Water is Luke warm and boiler keeps cutting out and going into lock out. I reset it and the tiger loop thing starts to fill, boiler starts then stops and tiger loop...
