Ohhhh there is no loft tank.

My mother has a hot water cylinder in her airing cupboard, it has a slight leak coming from the nut, right on the bottom of the cylinder (Should have taken a photo I guess...) I have tightened it slightly, it was ok for a few days but it has started to leak again, not a lot, but enough to leave...

Will a Flapper Flush Valve work better then? I'll take a look at it tomorrow and see what she has in the cistern.

I think you are right diyplumber.... I did say to my mother that the ones they come out with these days are intent on saving water, I doubt very much if anything can be done about the flush........ short of finding a good old fashioned one :mrgreen:

My mother had a new toilet installed a few months ago, she is finding that it doesn't have a hard flush, more or less a short flush. Is there anything that I can do to change this please? Thanks :)

My mother has laminate flooring and she called me to say she found a small puddle of water on the floor by the radiator. Forgot to take a photo of it but did fine a similar picture on the net, the drip is coming from the open ended bit, it points down towards the floor. I need to know...

Due to the fact we have not heard back from the Dealership, the Finance company decided to take matters into their own hands :) An engineer was sent down a couple days ago to look at the car, run test etc. Unfortunately, the EML didn't come on..... therefore he wasn't able to do very much...

Because when the screw came out the wall plug came out with it and the area around it is rather crumbly :?

I have rechecked the wiring and the wires are still in place,I tugged both of them a little to be sure. The fan works fine but the light still flickers on and off :(

Yes, it was bought from a dealer, I mentioned the fault asked if he was prepared to repair, he responded by saying, no, and if we were not happy to return the car. I have since found out that it is his responsibility to make right the car. We are still waiting...
