Hi Joe The EHO recons he saw in the attic and it was soaking. since the EHO has been there the lead and soakers have been done by the landlord but he claims its still leaking? damp on landing and bedroom ceiling

Yes I've seen the damp in the neighbours house. I'm speaking to a building inspector friend today and I'm enquiring with my bank to arange to see the deeds. Thank you for all this kind advise.

Thank you woody so it seems it IS a shared chimney. I now have to prove it isn't my side leaking..... what a nightmare. Or I could let him stew until he takes the next step. I'm concerned because his tenants I think are refusing rent and if it is my side he will make me pay.
