Still not working, when on it is draining constantly, if I put water in it drains off no problem. The red water tap light is not always on, but it does not run

My dishwasher is now working..... I have done nothing since I posted this, today i was going to look inside to see what I coud see, I tured it on first and it worked!!!! Apply Days but why did it stop working? Any clues please......
