Well after recently repaired boiler i woke up this morning to freezing cold house. Found that the mains 3A fuse blown replaced the fuse & noticed an error code on the Baxi Intellistat, E81 if i reset the Intellistat the mains fuse blows, the heating is not working but DHW is fine don't know if...

If the hot tap is operated the boiler continues to fire even when the tap is turned off the closest rad is getting hot. Cheers.

The boilers in good condition not regularly serviced though.

The boiler senses the hot water tap is open boiler fires as normal but there is no hot water, does that mean the flow switch is ok? Cheers.

This boiler was installed in 2005 & has been for the most part pretty reliable. The boiler has now stopped supplying hot water & a local boiler engineer reckons the diverter valve needs replacing & has comeback with a quote of £671 to replace, accordingly the whole bottom half of the boiler will...

I've still got the old mechanical timer could i not try this first? If it turns out to be the Intellistat can you recommend a replacement?

The intellistat has been fine up til now so i know it's connected ok, as for programming, i've reset the Intellistat using the little pin-hole reset button, still the same, so unless there is a sevice menu everything looks ok??? Tim.

All condensate pipes were clear. The condensate vessel is divided into 2, 1 side connected to the combustion chamber this fills & spills over into the other side, this side of the chamber has a pipe running part way up, the condensate spills over into this pipe & out, all looked to be ok the...

I don't know WTF is going on, everything seems to have sorted itself Intellistat now showing correct desired temp, boiler is firing as it should. Beats me :?: I'll post if something else pops up. Thanks to all who replied. Tim.

Hi Tony thanks for the reply, I switched on the boiler yesyterday & it fired & is working of sorts. It seems to be ignoring the Baxi Intellistat (room stat) & is continually on, also the desired temp on the intellistat is half of what it should be i.e dial is set to the 22deg C position but...
