    Can I dot and dab to my chimney breast

    Hello one and all My question is simple can I dot and dab to my chimney breast when I have a wood burring stove.. If so what plaster board should I use... If I can not dot and dab could I fix some sort of frame to the chimney breast which I could then fasten plaster board to Any help...
