How to change an upstairs radiator

all rads upstairs are on the lowest trv setting with bed 2 and 3 on full. as bed one didnt have a trv ive just locked off the flow so its barely open so this rad takes longer to heat. its half worked but still not perfect. if i wanted to maintain 19 degrees in bed 2 at all times then bed 1...

How to change an upstairs radiator

hi, thanks for the response which was perfect. So i understand the idea around the room with the termostat shouldnt have a trv which is why bed 1 doesnt have one. The rad in this must be a 600 x 400 at the most. however bed 1 also have a ensuite with a large towel rail. this has a trv which is...

Two cold bedrooms in New build

No garage is seperate to help. Really want to avoid moving the nest has this will leave a nice hole in the wall and some wiring needed. I just need to slow down the rad in bed 1 so the rest of the rooms can catch up.

brand new decking - now to paint, stain etc

Yes please. I don't mind a quick touch up that's absolutely fine. Giving it a clean and another coat is easy. It's the scrubbing the flaking off sanding and re painting I didn't want to do. Look forward to seeing it.

the decking is already down, if i had done it myself then i would have painted everything first and then layed it down. basically i want grey decking, i just want the best way to achieve these results without having to re do it every year etc.

brand new decking - now to paint, stain etc

after a little more research im thinking that painting the deck might be the best idea. im not fussed about keeping the wood grain so what ive read is that paint will last a lot longer and protect the wood better than a stain would. what you guys think

brand new decking - now to paint, stain etc

i know a lot of people would say the same and in most cases i would agree but the colour wouldnt look right in our garden or coming off our house but a grey would certainly finish off our 12 months complete house/garden renovation. so staining is best and an oil based grey stain should be...

Insulating part of garage for utility room

ok so after all of the comments ive had a read up on things and have come up with the following. for the ceiling i will just use a normal light and ditch the spots. its to much of a faff and this room is a utility in a garage not a nice decorated room. so the plan is to use kingspan...
