Sorry ya I did mean bath element, got a new immersion put in and its working grand, only thing is I still don't actually understand why the RCD was tripping!. Plumber could'nt explain either. Won't lose any sleep over it anyway. Sorry bout the photo, new to this tablet. Thanks for your responses.

Just wondering if anyone knows why my immersion won't work. Its brand new, was just checking it there and I have a short between the therm stat and the bath, I disconnected the wires going into the stat and checked again and the short is between bath and the fixed part of the stat if that makes...
