    And to add that I had an engineer look at it, who suggested the PCB after testing the thermistor which seemed ok. Obviously he wasn't sure either, but now I have ruled out the PCB I am at a loss as to what else it might be.

    Just an update on this problem. I fitted a new PCB and the problem persists, no hot water when a tap is turned on, only CH seems to work. I wonder if it is now the diverter valve... I have a grey Honeywell head, which I have removed and the plastic slider on the side seems fine...not sure...

    Yes, it just stays at "0" the whole time, hence my thinking something not right with the electronics, so sensor or PCB then.

    Thanks Dan, I was actually pretty shocked when he didn't completely write the boiler off on seeing what model it was as I had never heard a good word about it! I will do more research next time around.... If it is the PCB again, what in the long term is my best action, get another PCB fitted...
