    Expansion valve leaking

    There is a small red cap on the top of the leaking "peice". I've tried to tighten with my fingers (while the system was hot) but it wouldn't move. What do you recommend? Waiting for the system to go cold then tighten with suitable pliers? or just go ahead now while the system is still hot?

    Garage CU is supllied direct from main house CU on dedicated circuit and is RCD protected. Has 2 MCB's - 6A is not being used. and yes.....it is a switched FCU, not 20A DP.
