    Hi Benny it’s called plaster sand - certainly finer that builders sand pas you say difficult to judge. Is this for your suggestion In place of bonding plaster? It does seam silly to by a bag of bonding or undercoat plaster

    Yes I remember I get so many different answers. So I suppose it has to be 6 plaster sand and 1 cement - with nothing else ( by that I mean waterproof or SBR). This is the final coat

    I have knocked out old plaster to brickwork (done by cowboys that never road a horse) many years ago. My ? is do I use a bonding plaster or cement mix, and SBR before using a finishing plaster ( I have to insert a new bit of wire screed as well. Please advise picture added)

    Cement mix for an outside render

    I have chipped away the old render and now left with a scratched good coat. My question do I need to use a waterproof PVA ( called SIKACEM waterproof PVA ) which on the product a Universal primer and sealer. I also have some plaster which had blown and I chipped that down to brickwork
