So based on diversity (and your above calculation) a 30A fuse will be ok for the 10.8kW cooker. (Want to get this right - don't want to blow the fuse as soon as i turn the cooker on). :D :shock: :D

Hi Am new to electrics and have a couple of quick questions. I have a new electric cooker rated to a max of 10.8kw and a cooker isolation switch with an integral socket. What fuse do i need in the fuse box (Is the 30A fuse that is already there enough?) And, what cable size and type...
