Still no joy. Ive taken the float arm off. Still cannot see anything. Does anyone know how this particular one works? or should I admit defeat and deem it faulty.

    Cistern overflowing

Many many ways. The instructions say to Unclip the float and move it down below the fill line but I can’t find any clip. I thought it meant to move the brown thing down so I did and that didn’t work. I then adjusted the white hexagon screw thing to move the float up and down. Nothing. Moving...

    Bath cold water supply

Hi. The stop cock was next to the downstairs toilet and stopped the flow to all the other taps in the house. But. Thinking about it I don’t know if there wasn’t a little bit of flow as the cold water tap in the kitchen ran for a bit this morning even though the stop cock was off for 24 hours.

    Bath cold water supply

I think the gate valve must be faulty. But I don’t understand how the tank in the loft is being filled if the ruin main is off? anyway. Sorted now. Just had to work around the dribbles. Buckets and towels!!

Facias dripping a lot despite no rain.

Plumber has suggested upgrading it all as I had a new system but kept the old tanks. They are v old I think and the lids are a sort of weird cardboard.

Facias dripping a lot despite no rain.

@Burnerman you were pretty spot on. The lid of the tank had fallen in and was wedging the ball cock so the overflow tank was constantly filling up. After I had a bath it was absolutely dripping like a monsoon! The overflow pipe was also behind the facia! What a mess. The leak is at least sorted...

Thank you. It’s stopped now. Well almost. V slow drips but it did that yesterday. I’ll see what the builder says on Friday unless it gets worse again. I’ve checked the lost again and absolutely no drips anywhere I can see. Unless the builder condensation pipe goes into the gutter??? And the...

Yes. There is overflow pipes. I’ve been into the loft and can’t hear anything. Also, I would have thought that any leak would cause the water meter to go round? I’m so confused by it. Logic says it’s a leak in the roof but I just can’t see any evidence for it!
