Thank you very much SNM, I really appreciate your advice. I am wondering if its because it is just the oven with fan and no hob elements.. and I think there is only the element at top of oven, not bottom also.

My first attempt on this great site. I have purchased a ZANUSSI ZOB31301WK Electric Oven and my electrician has said it can be plugged into a normal socket even though it says in the product details that it requires hard wiring. The energy consumption is 0.89kWh. Can you advise me please...
