Thanks for that comment, The guy at npower is not an electrician, ( only a customer service) - and the guy from Lowri Becks who installed the new meter said he did it right ( as some of the guys here said as well :( ). So they all seem to think the only way is to get some local guy to do...

Hi, The reason we sold off the storage heaters... Because we think we should be better off turning them on a bit in the morning, and then again in the evening. As storage heaters we had kept the house warm during the day while no one is home and nothing in the evening. So we disconnected them...

And still no where to go. :( This is the latest reply I got from npower : Now they are saying there is such thing as off peak consumer unit.. sigh... I may need to send my private jet to pick you up, flyingsparks ;).

Thank you for your reply. This is the reply I got from npower. ""The engineer has said that he has connected the off peak supply to the Henley Block for safety reasons so he hasn’t left a live cable. However the consumer unit for the heaters is ready to go once you are ready to be switched...

Well, an electrician came and he said npower has to do it. as the return cable still need to be connected to the main with seal again... I cant stand power company !

Thanks for your answers. What kind of ticked me off is that I told him specifically what i wanted to do, show him the heaters, etc, and he did this anyway. Tried to call his company, but they said they dont want to know. Oh well, an electrician is coming today. How much do you think it should...
