    Sunbed installation

Hi! I was asked to install an additional sunbed (17kW, 3ph) in a sunbed studio. At the moment there are already five sunbeds in place with power rating from about 13kW to 17kW. The studio has a 3ph supply (3x100A). The consumer unit is about five years old. It is 6 way. Five is already taken by...

    Toilet Ventilation

Hi! I hope this thread is in the right section of the forum. I'm trying to improve ventilation for two toilets in the cafe where I work. The toilets are about 25m3 each. In the summer we have a major problem with smell, humid and heat in them. We get very busy on sunny days which makes the...

    Coffee Table

Thank you for a great answer JobAndKnock! So this is my plan: 1. I use 2 pack filler sand it with P120 to P240 check for any gaps etc. and fill and sand again if necessary. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001GU2H6S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 2. I treat MDF with...

    Coffee Table

Again thank you for the reply! I've decided to invest into a sander. What do you think about this one? http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/makita-bo5041x1-5-random-orbital-sander-p150581 It seems to be just right for my needs. I also decided (or rather my wife did) that the table will be...

    Coffee Table

I want it to be quite heavy and solid but you're probably right. 25mm might be an overkill :)

    Coffee Table

JobAndKnock - Thank you very much for your detailed answer. I was expecting the process to be complicated. I could have access to a compressor, nozzles etc. but these are rather low quality and I've never used anything like it in my life. Plus the problem of dust... Foxhole - Do you mean...

    Coffee Table

Hi! I need a coffee table for my living room. After an extensive research I've noticed that if I want something in my taste, the price is sky high (to me) for a relatively simple thing. Hence now I'm thinking about building my own table. I want it to look something like in the photograph...

    Mid Sleeper bed - Project

Thanks big-all! One more question. What do you think of using whitewood rather than redwood? The appearance is not super important and this is my first project so if the effect wont be entirely satisfying it would cost me £100 rather than £200.

I guess this is it then: The angle is just for the presentation purpose. I'll try to do the whole bed redesign and put it here. That will not include the slide. It will be on the separate drawing.

    Mid Sleeper bed - Project

Hi! Thank you guys! I decided to follow your advice: 1. I'm going to build a vertical ladder rather than steps. Can I use the same material which I use for the rail? Can I just fix elements of the ladder with wood screws (glue?) or use nuts and bolts? I understand that 4" by 10" are...

    Mid Sleeper bed - Project

foxhole My daughter cannot use a ladder yet. The ceiling is 3.5m high so there is no danger of hitting it. It is also only a metre high an adult would not need to walk on steps. I decided to build the stairs to have some extra shelving space. You're probably right a bout hight sides of a...
