<90 degree hinges required for kitchen wall units

Any opinion of these two products? They seemingly would work if fixed in a suitable position: http://www.sdslondon.co.uk/window-openers-restrictors/telescopic-friction-stay-228-mm.html...

<90 degree hinges required for kitchen wall units

My kitchen is a rhombus and as a result I require some hinges that will prevent the doors from clashing for two kitchen wall units. Can anybody recommend such a product? My hinge knowledge is not great. Ideally I would like a 75 degree opening. Thanks in advance.

Roof terrace on shared freehold property - 'compensation'

Having consulted with two solicitors it appears that our demise includes the roof while both maisonettes are jointly responsible for the maintenance. It goes on to say that all structural works are to be done only with the permission of the shared freeholder, therefore in effect we simply...

Roof terrace on shared freehold property - 'compensation'

Hi everybody, My partner and I own the 1st and 2nd floor maisonette of a shared freehold building. The other shared freeholder owns the ground floor maisonette and the garden. We own 50% of the freehold each. We are top floor an our maisonette has access to the roof space and seemingly the...

Can this orange worktop material be identified?

Unfortunately I can't remember as I saved it to my laptop a long time ago. I seem to remember it being in New York... not much help.

Soundproofing between maisonettes - sharing costs

It's not the 'only' option but it is the most sensible option. That however is not the question.

Joe, you are missing the point. Please re-read the thread.

Soundproofing between maisonettes - sharing costs

As stated originally: 'Party B wishes to keep the original floorboards as the final finish (made good, sealed and stained).'

Can this orange worktop material be identified?

Hi Mario, I have received the Corian sample in Citrus Orange and it does not seem to be what I am looking for. The Corian is opaque whereas the product that I am looking looks to be translucent. I'm still not sure but am swaying towards Onyx as suggested by jamie86...

Soundproofing between maisonettes - sharing costs

So just to summarise a few key points mentioned: > Underlay/carpet or rugs are not going to have the same level of noise reduction as in-built soundproofing. > Exposed floorboards (with no soundproofing) are the worst possible option. > joe-90 thinks that Party A should pay as they are...

Soundproofing between maisonettes - sharing costs

How about the cost issue? Are most in agreement that 50/50 is the norm?

Soundproofing between maisonettes - sharing costs

I forgot to mention a key consideration for Party B... The 1st floor joins into two staircases (one up, one down). If there is any considerable height added to the of the floor (25mm+) then the top/bottom steps are going to look out of place.

Soundproofing between maisonettes - sharing costs

Hi all, I live in a maisonette (a converted townhouse). We shared freeholders are looking to install soundproofing within the 1st floor floorboards and ground floor ceiling. We are on good terms and we we would like to work out the fairest way to share the costs. Currently there is a minor...
