thanks guys, taking from our George Michael Reference , i knew that 2 become 1 ala the spice girls but i was leaning toward the 2 blacks together so im glad i checked it out first. ill be using the upmost of care when doing the change.

can somebody tell me what i do with each of the black wires i have from my old unit. i have a blue wire, a black wire and a black wire in a brown sheath as well as the earth wire. but my new light only has 3 connectors on it live , earth and neutral. [/img]
