    It could well have been cut before I got the house. It was a purchase from auction. It did have a sticker on the boiler and radiators saying the system had been drained etc. I just wanted to power it up to see if it's working then obviously get the required people in to do all the safety checks...

    Ok so I took a better picture. However it's on its side. This is the top of the boiler. It seem like the wire just goes into the wall it does seem to connect into the boiler? Like a loop of wire?

    Yes it's the same cable. I'm not sure if the plasterer cut it to do the plastering or if it was cut before. It looks like one is bigger due to the camera angle. But these wires are part of the same thing. I must apologise for my lack of knowledge. But the cable went goes into the metal box...

    Hello. Straight to the point. I've moved into a new property and above the comboi it seems the power electric cable has been cut. How do I connect these bak together? What type of connector do I need to use. The wire is grey and has 3 copper cables inside see attachéd picture link.
