Hi bad news tried disconnecting ball valve fitted hose pipe run water down pipe for a few seconds ... did not work time to call plumber or is any one out there that knows some think else i could try Thanks

Would this be a Air Lock in the system has any one had this problem or is this a first .What If I drain the whole system, and start again .Or disconnect the ball valve of the small tank and connect a hose and try a burst of water down the pipe.it just if I call a plump out they charge the earth...

I ve just looked in the book. Its called a wet central heating system. there is a bigger tank filled from the mains next to it is a small tank . the boiler is a bout 15 to 20 years old .Which is firing up OK.Also can hear pump working

yes i am getting water from taps, every think seems fine till I turn the heating on for the water .Its just runs out cold .I ve even filled the small tank up manually .Got the radiator's working took the trapped air out of them its just the water being cold, .. Thanks
