    Thanks for this, I will take a look later however when I looked before I struggled to find an AC/AC supply and could only find AC/DC. Assume it cant be supplied with a DC supply? My previous attempts with other DC supplies would suggest not but maybe I was using the wrong thing.

    I'd like to replace the valves to be sure but I assume there is a lot of work beforehand to ensure water isnt spraying all over the place whilst they are changed? Hot water is from a cylinder in our home.

    Ok so power supply plugged in and powered on. One LED connected to junction box, reading at an empty connection is 0.8v.

    I have inherited this when buying the house but assume its the original as it was all connected behind the cupboards, they just dont turn on. Multimeter was on the AC setting when tested. Power supply was plugged into wall and switched on.

    Thanks for the detailed response, apologies, but some of the information wasn't clear to me at the start, we've just moved house so i just keep coming back to this when I can. Wall wort was showing 19v when switched on at the wall and multimeter set to AC. I am not at home at the moment but...

    Its showing 19v, does that change anything? Any idea what this connection on each of the LED's is?

    Just got round to testing this wall wart finally. Showing as 19v when testing with multimeter. Is this an issue? Basically the LED's arent coming on so not sure if this would be the cause?
