    thanks for the tips. will give it ago As you are creating new habitable space you will need to bring insulation etc up to current Building Regs levels. You will need suitable temporary (props) and permanent (lintel) support for the opening.

    hi all. i am diy novice. need some advice with bricking up the external poured concrete door area. the plan is to brick up the front then knock though the back wall, so that a small shower cubicle can be installed. any major do's and dont's. ( apart from dont do it ) thanks john
