    Aluminium Cill for Shower Door

Hi - wasn't sure where to post this. I'm looking for a replacement aluminium cill for the inside of a shower door. The purpose of the cill is obviously to divert water away from the door/shower opening. This is an old shower enclosure etc and ideally it would be replaced along with...

    Moss on a Flat Roof

Flat roof - bonded felt I think generally good condition except for.......... Big clumps of moss that seems to have accumulated over the past couple of years. Looks unsightly on roofs that are otherwise in good nick. Any recommendations on removal and keeping it clear? Can you use...

Mondeo Estate - Uneven Tyre Wear

Hi There, I have a 5 year old Mondeo Estate. The back wheel tyres always seem to suffer from uneven tyre wear - the inside of the tyre. I don't carry particularly heavy loads - just use the car for normal social & domestic etc. Is there anything that could be causing this in terms of the...

Brake Fluid - Boiling Point Critical

Thanks Johnwr, I presume from what your say therefore that as long as I'm not driving the Monte Carlo rally or any other heavy continuous braking that as long as I get it sorted reasonably soon I'm unlikely to be in any immediate danger? Thanks

Outlook Express - Very very Slow

For what seems like no apparent reason, Outlook Express now takes minutes and minutes to open up on my pc. Used to be perfectly fine and I'm not sure of any reason why this would have changed. Any advice please?

Brake Fluid - Boiling Point Critical

Had my car serviced the other day 75,000 main dealer. Was told that the break fluid boiling point was critical, in otherwords the fluid needed changing. They wanted £50 to do it. Can't say I've noticed any fall off in break performance and I presume that unless I was breaking heavily and...

    Weird Central Heating Problem

I have checked the wiring in accordance with the diagram with an electrical screwdriver. I picked up voltage as per the diagram so it doesn't seem to be a wiring fault.

    Weird Central Heating Problem

CH4, Thanks for the info. I will do a voltage check when I get a spare 5 mins. I had the cylinder replaced at the same time. The boiler is a Glow-worm 24hxi. From what the installer said, it does indeed 'modulate'. When it fires up one can here the whoosh but this soon falls back to an...

    Weird Central Heating Problem

Pretty sure it's not a boiler flow temp issue. Turned boiler stat right up but still doesn't seem to turn pump off when just on HW or indeed divert flow to rads when both HW or CH are on. I know nothing about these things but I reckon there must be wiring fault.

    Weird Central Heating Problem

Thanks Chrishutt. The installer has used a Danfoss Wiring Centre to connect everything up. I've taken the cover off and had a look. It seems to accord with the wiring diagram required for a Fully Pumped System 3 Port Mid Position Valve and he's left his wiring notes aswell. Re the boiler...
